sakinkal is a crisis preparedness resource that aims to take readiness out of the realm of specialist expertise and turn it into a habit as ordinary as brushing your teeth. Unlike forum threads, product-pushing blogs, and scattered videos, it puts calm, evidence, and simplicity at the center. It distills complex information into concrete steps, checklists, and verified guides that someone just getting started with preparedness can apply today.
I built the project on Astro + Tailwind CSS; content is managed through Markdown and YAML-based content collections, post-build static search is provided by Pagefind, and the site is published entirely statically on Cloudflare Pages. Offline accessibility, printable checklists, and strong SEO/GEO infrastructure were deliberately designed with the goal of being a resource that “takes the place of reflex in a moment of panic.” It is positioned as an ad-free, non-profit, single-language (Turkish) publication.
